Pre-Kindergarten at Esperance Christian School provides a warm, play-based introduction to school, helping children prepare for Kindergarten and Pre-Primary. The program runs for two half days per week and is led by experienced Early Childhood teachers and assistants who love working with this age group.
Through intentional play and gentle structure, children begin developing early literacy and numeracy skills while becoming familiar with school routines. Teachers in later years consistently observe that Pre-Kindergarten students transition into Kindergarten with greater confidence and readiness to learn.
4 year old – Kindergarten
The Kindergarten experience is a continuation of Pre-Kindergarten with quality teaching, where children are introduced to more in-depth academic concepts in a 3 day per week program.
Play continues to be a critical way that children of this age learn about many broad and complicated concepts, with a play-based program that weaves an introduction into numeracy and literacy through sensory experiences, and playing with language and numbers.
